Homework
Homework: Most homework assignments are worth 10 points and are checked daily based on effort. While I do expect homework to be completed, if you show that you tried and put forth effort you will receive the homework grade. Remember, your homework does not have to have the correct answers; homework is for you to practice- try your best. Some may be collected; others will be used in class discussion. Some of the assignments will be “have to” assignments and some will be “can do” assignments. You will have some choices throughout the year. While it is expected that you turn in all assignments on time, you will receive half-credit if an assignment is one day late. Most assignments will not be accepted after one day late. Please see me with questions or concerns regarding a particular assignment that you feel you may need more time.
You must attempt all problems in order to receive full credit. It is your responsibility to find out about homework missed due to absences.
Quizzes and Tests
Quizzes and tests could range from 20-100 points.
A chance to get better: You will be allowed to redeem points on the tests. Simply just take the test or quiz home, get it signed, and redo the problems that were marked incorrect.
